Audience Measurement
We’re always keen to prove the effectiveness of Digital Signage and whilst indicators such as sales figures can illustrate the impact of particular promotions, until now we’ve been unable to provide actual audience figures. However, thanks to some new technology which captures screen views, we’re now not only able to monitor the number of people viewing our screens but also provide a range of other information such as demographic data and dwell time.

Last month saw us visit the third annual Digital Signage Conference held in Chicago. The hot topic of conversation this year was touchscreen technology, and the ability to combine current digital content with an interactive element. Most significant of all is the ability for shop windows themselves to become touchscreens, enabling consumers to interact with the screen content.
We’ve now begun developing an interactive facility for the Indigo Digital Signage System and will have a demo version available in the new year. Watch this space!
